The letter to the Philippians is often referred to as the Epistle of Joy, and it is easy to understand why. Paul wrote out of his adversity as a prisoner at a time when he had learned to be joyful and content in his circumstances. Reading the lines of this particular letter, we see it is the power of love displayed through humility that is the clarion call of Philippians 2.
