This week Pastor Jonathan Laurie continues our series called Timeless. Today we will seek answers to the ever-important question: “Who Is the Holy Spirit?”

Application

A cultural war is waging in our country, and if you do not know what the Bible teaches, you could end up as a spiritual casualty.
The USA is a nation that was built by men of faith who were imperfect, but they feared and honored God.
- America is a nation built on biblical values!
In Matthew 24, one of the signs of Jesus’ Second Coming is, it’d resemble the days of Noah.
- Alert: Paying attention, awake. (Matthew 24:37–42)
- Ready: Prepared, anticipating, looking at the signs, a thief in the night. (Matthew 24:43–44)
- Faithful: “A long obedience in the same direction.” —Eugene Peterson (Matthew 24:45–51)
“Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.”

“Who Is the Holy Spirit?”

The Holy Spirit is God.
1. “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
2. “But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.”
The Holy Spirit Saves.

The Holy Spirit Guides.
The Holy Spirit keeps us from sin.
The Holy Spirit teaches us.
The Holy Spirit advances our faith.
1. But he said, “Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus.”
The Holy Spirit empowers.
The Holy Spirit seals.
