Jesus has been with you in the past as He is with you in the present, and He will also be with you in your future. In today’s message, were reminded of the real message of Christmas: You are not alone!
Application
1. Jesus has always been there.
- The Christmas story begins with a tree.
- Genesis 3:6
- “He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
- Genesis 3:15
- There are many appearances of Christ in the Old Testament.
- Jesus was there with the Father at creation.
- John 1:1–5, 14
2. Jesus came to our world.
- Jesus walked among us, lived our lives, and experiences what we have experienced.
- Jesus laid everything aside for us.
- 2 Corinthians 8:9
- Immanuel, God is with us!
- Immanuel has come, God is with us.
- Jesus lived a life of loneliness.
- Isaiah 53:3
- When Jesus died upon the cross, He was suspended between Heaven and Earth—all because He had taken the sin of the world upon Himself.
3. Jesus is coming again.
